3 Motions was a delight

Absolutely loved this production. It's change of pace was wonderful, and it was nice to simply sit and watch the beauty of the dance without great concern for following a storyline. I found myself really listening to the music and moving in my mind right along with the performers. My favorite? The third perfomance - Celtic. It was so enjoyable to watch. The audience truly left tapping their toes too. I sat next to a gentleman who had been to the matinee performance and enjoyed it so much he returned for the evening. Great way to end the season. I'll be back.

Wouldn't do it again.

The men were by far better than the women. It's as though the girls didn't decide to wake up until the last act. they were more concerned with looking down to check their feet than getting into the emotion of the dance or eyen making eye contact with their partners. I don't know if it was beacuase it was essentially a series of one act plays instead of a complete storyline that caused this but come on! According to the play bil it is alot of the dancers first season but this is professional and they are charging alot for it- I expected much more. The first half was so unbelievably off synchronization that they should have just given up on trying to be together- or maybe they did. It was also terribly disappointing that there was a live orchestra for only the second of 3 acts. Uuuugh!
